60's Sheet Music Collection

Although not the cash cow that sheet music was in the late 19th/early 20th Century, in the 1960s sheet music was still a valuable source of income for musicians and music publishers

This unique collection of 1960s sheet music has been donated to Music Heritage UK, by supporter Alan. he's scanned the covers of his childhood collection of sheet music. Featuring the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan, it's a collection which also showcases the development of printed sheet music - from simple covers, to the more elaborate as the decade goes on - as a young generation spent increasing amounts on anything which brought them closer to their idols

Many thanks to Alan James for this donation
